University Libraries
On the ballot this November, New Mexico General Obligation (GO) Bond B will ask voters statewide to approve more than $11 million in funding for the state's public, school, tribal, college and university libraries to update their collections, equipment and databases.
Since 2002, New Mexico voters have passed five statewide bond issues, helping libraries to meet increasing demands for materials and internet services.
Passing the GO Bond in 2014 will enable academic libraries to:
- Provide 24/7 access to library resources for all campus-wide and distance education students, faculty, and staff- no matter where they live.
- Support our students and faculty with current library materials in community college and university libraries.
- Help college libraries and programs meet accreditation standards.
